Youth and Government
Youth and Government (YAG) is a program that brings students (ages 13-18) together to discuss current events and issues important to them and their community, while building their public speaking, leadership, and debate skills. Civil discussion and civic engagement are more important today than ever before! Our YAG program is a safe place for students from every background to learn and engage with their peers.
Students are invited to participate in club meetings until January before fees are due for Youth Legislative Session April 29 – May 2, 2026 (Olympia, WA).
*There is an additional Annual State Conference Fee of $410 – (covers hotel, food, & transportation). Fundraising opportunities available!
Please come help us build our brand new Skagit Valley YMCA delegation!
