Y Kids @ Hoag is a fun, safe place for your kids while you enjoy your time at the Y! Y Kids is open to both members and community families.

• FREE for Family Memberships

• $15 per session, per child, for other membership types and community members
  (If you have a non-Family Membership, payment is made directly at the Y Kids Corner—not at the Welcome Center.)

Y Kids is offered as a drop-in program. If the Y Kids Corner is full when you arrive, we may ask you to wait briefly until space becomes available, allowing our staff to continue providing a safe and positive experience for all children.

What to Know Before You Go

• Y Kids is available for children ages 1–10.

• Y Kids @ Hoag is not a state-licensed childcare program and operates under a licensing exemption.

  • Children may attend for up to 2 hours per visit, with a maximum of 12 hours per week.

  • Since we are not a licensed childcare facility, our staff are unable to change diapers. If a diaper change is needed, a staff member will locate you in the building.

  • Children using the Kid Zone bathroom must be able to use the restroom independently.

• A parent or guardian must sign children in and out and remain in the building at all times.

• Children should wear comfortable, appropriate clothing and shoes for active play.

• Please no outside food or drinks (water bottles are welcome).

• The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

• For everyone’s health and safety, please keep children home if they are feeling ill.
